Ah Ma had two heart attacks last week & didn't even realised it. She broke out in cold sweat & had difficulty in breathing for both occasions.
& now she's in the hospital. Doctor says that we have to be prepared as her days are numbered due to her weak heart. Broke down countless number of times in the hospital yesterday. Cried until no more tears would flow & I'm left with a throbbing headache.
Just when I've stopped crying, something would trigger, & I'll start again.
All we can do now is to visit her in the hospital everyday & make her happy. I felt so bad cos yesterday when she saw that I was crying, she quickly looked away & held back her tears.
& when I fed her milo, her whole body was trembling in fear. She was so afraid that she has to leave this world soon.
Lying on the hospital bed was my Grandmother who took care of me when I was born till 7 years old. The strong-willed woman who always stands on ceremony & refuses help from people even if she can't handle it herself.
I will continue praying everyday, in hopes of a miracle. Please pray for her too, if you've read this post.
Went town with Janice yesterday in search of her birthday dress. Finally bought it. & I bought mine as well. This week's really hectic because of the 5-day wake, following by Janice's birthday on Saturday.
I've never had a proper conversation with him. The only time we'd ever talked was during every Chinese New Year, whereby we'd shake hands & exchange greetings.
That was all.
& now I'm full of regrets.
I wished I had a chance to sit down & get to know him, to love him as he was. But all that's impossible now.
We'll miss you, Granduncle. & although I only know you by face, I'm aware of all the help you've rendered to my Grandma when Grandpa passed away. Thanks for being there for her when she was most vulnerable.
You were a good man. & I'm sure your two sons take pride in that.
I'm sorry I couldn't be there to see you when you were at your last moments. But I hope you left in peace & with no worries.
Batam was alright. It wasn't as fun as I'd expected. Just that the scenery was gorgeous (:
Picture-perfect material.
So upon arrival, we headed straight to our resort & dumped all our bags there before heading to a famous temple. Took pictures.
Then went to a few shopping centres for shopping but didn't buy much cos their fashion sense is a lil whacked. Bought a swimming costume for SGD$19.00 & some cute undergarments for SGD$11.00 in total.
After shopping, we decided to go for a full-body massage.
OMG THE MASSAGE.
It was so violating ): Cos we had to strip & let our masseuses touch ALL our body parts. & my masseuse was such an ass luh.
She applied so much force that I have bruises & blue-blacks to prove it! Sighs. But it was only SGD$10.00 so yea.
After that went for dinner at some hawker centre. Total dinner bill was SGD$170+. & then came the fun part.
We went to book a KTV room in our resort (: & it was like, 12am. We invited all our relatives (all 17 of them) to join in the singing. Elyse & I seriously kept picking the wrong songs luh. The songs were too low for us to reach & we ended up sounding like we were talking instead of singing

The next day, went to a few more famous places like the Rainbow Bridge, etc. & at night, we took the last ferry back to Singapore.
